Speaking of black and white...This is probably my favorite of all my photographs. I believe I've posted it before, but not in bee-double-you. I've been using Silver Efex for a long time for my black and whites and I've always been satisfied with the results but I've been looking at a lot of black and white film shooters lately and there's something really rich about film that makes the Silver Efex conversions look a little dull. Something in those silver tones that are so characteristic. I did this manually within Silver Efex and the differences are definitely noticeable to me. I don't know what the presets are doing behind the scenes but the tones  get a little flat and one dimensional whereas there is a bit more pop and tonal gradation here. I especially notice it in the faces.

I'm gonna go convert 3,000 pictures over again.
