We went to the Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary in Athens, MI while staying at my grandma's. While they considered themselves a zoo, it was only what you would expect for a place in the middle of a bunch of fields. The tortoises walk around and battle each other as you look at the alligators in a swimming pool. The secret is to buy the small feeding pellets, because the trainer will just upgrade you to the large ones once you get out there. We will remember that tip when we return to see their upcoming expansions, which I think we promised to do.
