I've been wanting to do a photo project for a long time. Not one that takes a few days. One that lasts weeks, months, years. Every time I hear about someone's personal project, I wish I could be hit by the same kind of passion. I have a passion to make photographs, but to document one specific happening, one event that otherwise would never be recorded, means more than the content of those images. I just can't come up with anything strong enough. I came across this video on youtube and it really points to the fact that it's not about the content of the photographs, but the vision behind them. It reminded me of some of Trent Parke's work shooting the same spot on the street. Anyway, I have no point to make, I don't even know what I'm saying.
